每一件国宝级文物的背后，都有一段鲜为人知的故事，铸造于春秋时期、宋国国君泯公的佩剑青铜器“泯公之兵”自然也不例外。话说2006年6月28日，豫西南某村村民柱子无意中在挖掘机下发现一件宝贝。柱子没太大文化，但是文物就值钱的道理，柱子还是知道一些。于是，柱子怀揣着宝贝连夜赶到北京，找到同村的鲍春林。
鲍春林在北京淘宝市场闯荡多年，认识一些文物贩子，梁老板就是其中一个。梁老板拿到柱子带来的宝贝，经鉴定确认为铸造于春秋时期的、一件叫“泯公之兵”的青钢兵器。此前有人托梁老板寻找过“泯公之兵”，如今得到“踏破铁蹄”，梁老板自然不能轻易放过。在梁老板一再攀高的价钱面前，鲍春林和柱子最终答应以250万现金成交。
狡猾的梁老板在交易时使用了掉包计，让柱子和鲍春林拿出“泯公之兵”后，换到手的却是一兜子废报纸。上当受骗的柱子精神上遭到严重的刺激，愤怒至极的鲍春林却因为五百...
