龙套演员小飞（柯有伦 饰）在上海拍摄一部电影，认识了大明星王曼菲（崔允素 饰），在一次偶然的机会救下了王曼菲。小飞因为拍戏屡屡搞砸、又因交不起房租被赶出了住所，却歪打正着进了一家民办幼儿园当起了义工，与其中的一个孤儿妞妞（张艾青 饰）结下了深厚的感情，原来妞妞是小飞上次拍车戏时撞伤的女孩。妞妞被小飞推荐到剧组，扮演王曼菲的女儿，深得王的喜欢。
娱记八爷（刘亚鹏 饰）曾是当年王曼菲的经纪人，也是单恋王曼菲到疯狂的人，现利用小飞开始炒作王曼菲的绯闻，来达到要挟王成为自己女朋友的阴暗目的。王曼菲被丑闻逼到死路上，小飞知道自己被八爷利用，开始将功补过，偷回八爷的爆料照片交给王曼菲，八爷开始更加疯狂的报复。小飞发现自己爱上了王曼菲，为她默默付出了很多。
妞妞的最大梦想是能够登上舞台，给从未见面的妈妈跳一支街舞，小飞和兄弟们正是街舞高手，开始教妞妞跳舞。得知王曼...
